Line of Dance

It's easy to bump into others on a crowded dance floor, but how can we avoid it?

A good way to avoid that is to follow the "Line of Dance" (LOD). The LOD is a series of several ovals (or circles), moving counter-clockwise around the dance floor, with the fastest moving traffic on the outside of the dance floor, and each inner circle moving a little slower.

"Rhythmic" dances, such as Latin and Swing, which are performed more in-place, are reserved for the center of the dance floor.
