Fall 2007 fashions will be more sculptural and elegant than in recent seasons.
That's the prediction of David Wolfe, creative director and trend master at the Doneger Group, a New York retail consulting and buying office.
In a fall presentation sponsored by the Houston chapter of Fashion Group International , Wolfe predicted a return to elegance. The comeback of tailoring, hosiery, gloves and ladylike handbags on the runways could signal the return of good taste in response to an abundance of bad taste. "Fashion," he said, "is always about action and reaction."
